Malcolm Fuller

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Malcolm Fuller on 15th April 2026.

Malcolm had been Captain and President at Feltwell Golf Club several times and he was NGC Captain in 2010.

When we have more details of a funeral these will be placed here.

At this time our thoughts are with his family.

Andy Bullen

Andrew 'Andy' Bullen passed away at the age of 81 on the 6th April 2026, after a short battle with skin cancer. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, remembered as a larger-than-life character. A private family funeral was held, and donations were requested to the Big C c/o Blyth and Sons Ltd, 4 Cremer Street, Sheringham, NR26 8DZ. 

Andy was the NGC President in 2009. He served as Sheringham Club Captain in 2002-03

Ronald Kent

Sadly we have to report the death of Ronald Kent. he passed away on the 19th March 2026 after a period of illness, having been cared for by his wife Margaret.

Ronald was a former captain at Feltwell Golf Club and a member of the NGC for several years.

His funeral is on Monday 27th April at 2.30pm at the Bury St Edmunds crematorium. 

Graham Baker

It is with much sadness that we report the sudden death of Graham Baker. A true gentleman and stalwart of the NGC, Graham passed away on Wednesday 14th January 2026. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Graham served relatively recently as the NGC Captain in 2024.

His funeral service was held at Mintlynn Crematorium , King's Lynn, on Thursday 29th January 2026.

Bertrand (Randy) Reynolds

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Randy Reynolds. Randy had been battling with health issues for a while. He passed away on Monday 12th January 2026. We are thinking about his family and friends at this time. 

Randy was the NGC Captain in 2012. He served with dignity and was a great supporter of the NGC. He was Club Captain at Fakenham GC and served as President from 2015-2025. He was also a member of Sheringham GC.

His Funeral service was held at St. Nicholas Church, Wells-next-the-Sea, on Tuesday 27th January 2026. 

Frank Myers

It is with much sadness that I must inform you of the passing of Frank Myers.

As many of you will know, Frank was the Norfolk Golf Captains (NGC) President in 2010 and from 2000-2009 he served with great distinction as the NGC's Secretary and Treasurer. He was responsible for expanding the number of Inter-County matches we now enjoy and was a huge advocate and supporter of our association.

Frank joined the Norfolk Golf Captains in 1988.

He was a past Captain at Thetford Golf Club and served as the Norfolk Golf Union President in 2012.

Frank has been unwell for a while; he was 85 years old.

John Alflatt

Members will be saddened to hear of the passing of John Alflatt, who was the NGC President in 2005.

John had been a member at Ryston Park GC for over 70 years and during that time served as both Club Captain, President and Trustee. 

His was a stellar golfer with his handicap as low as 3. John also played other sports: including skiing, curling, bowls and snooker. 

He died on 20th April 2025 aged 97.

The Cremation will be held at Mintlynn Crematorium, Lynn Road, King’s Lynn, PE32 1HB on Monday 12th May 2025 at 2.30pm. Family flowers only.

Joe Neep

March 2025

It is with sadness that we report the death of Joe Neep (G.J Neep) who passed away on Saturday 1st March 2025 at Halsey House in Cromer, aged 88. Joe was Captain (1984) and President (1992) of Norfolk Golf Captains.

The funeral service is at Great Yarmouth Crematorium on Monday 24th March 2025 at 11:30 am. Any members who knew Joe who would like to attend, with the wake being held at Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club, please contact jeremyneep@gmail.com 07813154048. 

Joe asked for donations to Caister Lifeboat instead of flowers - there is also a Tribute site for any messages from people who knew him. This also has a donation link for the lifeboat.

Roy Dodman

November 2023

It is with sadness that I report that Roy Dodman passed away on November 2nd, 2023, following a period of illness and poor health.

Roy had been a member for a number of years.

Peter Warren

December 2022
Sadly, I have to report that Peter Warren, who was the Society Captain in 2019, passed away on 9th December 2022. As many of you will know, Peter had battled with a serious health problem for the past four years.

Peter was a long-standing member at Eaton Golf Club, he was also previously a member and club Captain at Barnham Broom Golf Club. He was Captain at Barnham Broom in 1989. Peter was aged 80.
Our thoughts at this time are with his wife Barbara and his family.
